Back To School Organizing!

NEW CAMERA ALL PICTURES to DEC 09 207

A Halloween costume, not the first day of school! Just in case you were wondering.

Even though I am no longer in front of the classroom, the beginning of August makes my stomach clench at the thought of summer ending and heading BACK TO SCHOOL.

I am definitely one of those teachers who loved teaching as much as I loved my time off.  Nevertheless, I must now fight the urge to start planning lessons and buying supplies.

A rainy New England summer weekend afforded us the perfect opportunity to revamp our home office/homework site/guest room/conservatory/office supply storage hub/tutoring room/gift wrapping center and place to hang my favorite travel maps.

Below is a 30 second video of the transformation but more importantly was the inventory of Back To School supplies that we (okay that I) currently own.

Let’s just say with three children in high school I am now officially banned from buying anymore CRAYOLA products even if they are only $.01.

Enjoy the rainy weekend re-organization of our multi-purpose room!
